Police in Vermont said a woman using a GPS device drove up a utility pole Wednesday evening.

The woman’s car was suspended vertically on the pole’s wires, after she swerved quickly in response to her GPS telling her to turn around.

Police said the driver, who is from Dorchester, was not hurt in the crash.
