DOVER, N.H. (WHDH) — A Dover, New Hampshire man was arrested after police said he rigged a hidden camera inside his employer’s bathroom.

Dover Police said Matthew Elwell, 32, was secretly filming his co-workers going to the bathroom. Police said they received a 911 call from a local business reporting a hidden camera was found in a restroom. The investigation revealed a hidden camera disguised as a digital clock had been left on top of a toilet tank.

The camera recorded for approximately three-and-a-half hours. During that time, three employees were recorded using the bathroom. No members of the public were recorded.

The recording also captured the video being set up by the suspect.

Elwell was released on personal recognizance bail on a condition that he have no contact with the victims or any witnesses in the case.

He faces three counts of violation of privacy.
