All lanes on I-20 in Jackson, Mississippi, are now back open after about 100 cows were on the loose on the interstate on Friday.
An 18-wheeler truck was carrying the load of cows and overturned on the highway leading to a corral.
The cows escaped from the truck and started to wander around the interstate and surrounding areas. In addition to the loose cows, diesel from the 18-wheeler truck was spilled all over the interstate.
Cattle herders were on the scene all morning to help. A couple of the cows were able to escape the accident area and some officers even had to tie a cow down to a street sign.
