NEWTON, Mass. (WHDH) — Conditions have slightly improved along Route 128 in Newton as winter weather switched from snow to sleet Monday morning, and headed toward rain.
Conditions remain dangerous because the roads have a bit of slush on them. The drivers say they're a little slippery. Divers seem to be trying to keep up the speed and that could be trouble because it looks like you need five or 10 miles an hour less speed than usual.
Drivers are encouraged to exercise caution because the conditions are not really perfect.
