BOSTON (WHDH) - A drive’s wild ride in Hyde Park was caught on camera, after he slammed into a parked car and sent it into a porch.
Neighbors said the van came inches away from creating a frightening situation.
The van slammed into a parked Mercedes, and sent it into the neighbor’s yard.
Neighbors said they are grateful no one was seriously injured.
The impact was so intense, the iron gate was lifted from the ground and pieces of several cars littered the streets.
Neighbors said the driver was able to get out of the car, and didn’t realize how much damage was done.
They said despite two schools being in the area, drivers just speed through, making it a dangerous place to be.
Neighbors hope the crash will mean something is done to slow everyone down.
The driver was taken to the hospital as a precaution, and police are still determining whether he will be ticketed.
