Wow, just wow!  How about that weather yesterday?  While we start off on the cool side, temperatures went on a tear in the afternoon, ripping right through the 50s, and 60s and surging well into the 70s.  With tons of sun and low humidity, it was nearly a flawless afternoon.  While the sea breeze did hover close to the coast early in the afternoon, eventually the west wind kicked it out and even Boston’s Logan Airport jumped to 77.

While we don’t start off as cool this morning, we do finish off as warm.  75-80 degrees is in the cards with some breaks of sun late morning to mid afternoon. While we’ll catch our dry hours, we’ll also catch some drops.  A few light showers and sprinkles are out there this morning and a better chance for a few showers and thunderstorms roll through this afternoon and evening.  The highest risk for a heavier shower or storm is generally after 4pm. Not all towns will see it so if you have plans to grill dinner, just keep any eye to the sky, you may have to adjust dinner time according to the radar to dodge the drops.

A few scattered shower continue tonight, leaving mostly cloudy skies to start Saturday.  It’s even possible that a few morning showers linger tomorrow across southeast Mass.  The trend though is to dry it out with returning afternoon sunshine.  Temps tomorrow run in the 60s and sharply drop off tomorrow night.   Many burbs go below freezing Saturday night and then bounce back to near 60 Sunday afternoon with sunshine.  A bit of a sea breeze keeps it cooler at the coast Sunday.

Enjoy the warmth and enjoy the weekend. TGIF!!!!!!!!!!!
