MIAMI (AP) — Three people are dead following an early morning shooting at a residence in south Florida.

The Miami-Dade Police Department said Sunday that officers responded shortly before 4 a.m. to reports of gun shots being fired. When they arrived, police found four people with apparent gunshot wounds.

Two women — ages 39 and 19 — died at the scene. A 17-year-old male died later at a hospital. A 12-year-old boy who was also shot is in stable condition at Kendall Regional Hospital.

Police gave no details about who the shooter might be.
