HOPKINTON, N.H. (WHDH) — Just after 9 p.m. Thursday residents in and around Hopkinton, N.H. reported feeling the ground move.

A small earthquake apparently hit central New Hampshire, but no damage has been reported.

The West Observatory at Boston College says the 2.5 magnitude earthquake was centered near the Hopkinton village of Contoocook on Wednesday night.
