Two Patriots players have traded their helmets for police badges, as Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola star as Boston police officers in a new viral video.
Edelman and Amendola filmed a parody of a "Cops" episode where they fight crime in Boston, which looks a little bit like southern California. As officers Chip and Dale, they chase a suspect, ride a skateboard and hoverboard and have a pool party. They even get in a "Top Gun" tribute as they play a shirtless game of ping pong.
The clip ends with quick-scrolling credits but Patriots CEO Robert Kraft is listed as executive producer. The video is dedicated to quarterback Tom Brady but they make sure to say they cut his guest spot due to time.
