An elderly man was found in Fall River on Friday after being reported missing in Philadelphia, according to Fall River Police.

Fall River police received a 911 call from the 77-year-old around 8:00 a.m. Friday. The man slid on the ice in his car and told police he did not know where he was or how he got there.

The 911 location hit was near Copicut Pond, but was not near any roads.

After searching for almost two and a half hours, officers found the victim on the shoulder of Quanapaug Road.

The victim was taken to Charlton Regional Hospital.

His wife said he suffers from dementia and was last seen in Philadelphia at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
