GREAT BARRINGTON, MA (WHDH) — A woman has been charged after allegedly crashing into two women and two children while they were crossing the street in Great Barrington Friday.

According to police, two women, an 11-month-old in a stroller and a 3-year-old were crossing in a crosswalk on Main Street at Railroad Street just before 11 a.m.

At the time, an 87-year-old woman from Canaan, Connecticut struck the women and children.

All four were injured and transported by ambulance to Berkshire Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver was not injured.

She was charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle and failure to yield for pedestrians in a crosswalk.

The incident remains under investigation.
