ACTON, MASS. (WHDH) - A Groton woman was injured after she drove her car into a building in Acton Friday.

According to Acton police, officers received a call for a car into a building at Acton Medical Associates on Main Street around 1:30 p.m.

Police and Fire Rescue responded to the scene and found a car had driven into the rear of the building. The car damaged the exterior wall and window.

The driver of the car was identified as a 72-year-old Groton woman. She told police her foot slipped off the break and hit the gas.

The woman was shaken up, but not injured.

An unidentified female employee was sitting at a desk on the other side of the wall, and she suffered minor injuries from falling glass.
