BOSTON (WHDH) - Massachusetts Democrats made a swing through New Hampshire on Election Day.

With the Bay State dependably blue, they felt their time this Election Day was best spent in the Granite State.

Senator Elizabeth Warren rallied volunteers alongside Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healy and Congresswoman Katherine Clark.

“This election may turn out all to happen right here in New Hampshire,” said Senator Warren. “I just want to be here to help out in any way I can,” she added.

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh greeted voters outside a Manchester, New Hampshire polling location.

“There’s been a lot of thumbs up as people go by and I’m asking them to consider Hillary and Maggie,” said Mayor Walsh.

A win by New Hampshire Governor Maggie Hassan, who is looking to unseat Republican incumbent Kelly Ayotte, could help tilt control of the Senate to Democrats; a race being watched closely in New England and across the country.
