Elizabeth Noreika anchors 7NEWS at 4 and 7NEWS at 5:30 and she reports live for 7NEWS at 10 on CW56 and 7NEWS at 11.
She joined WHDH in January 2015.
Elizabeth is an award-winning anchor and reporter who spent a majority of her career in West Virginia. She’s covered numerous stories including a fatal mining disaster that killed 29 men and a chemical crisis that polluted the water supply for 300,000 people.
Elizabeth studied political science and Telecommunications with a specialization in international relations and media studies at Ohio Unviersity in Athens, Ohio.
Elizabeth grew up outside of Cleveland where she first developed a love for news.
Prior to working at WHDH, Elizabeth was the evening anchor at WCHS in Charleston, WV.
In her free time you can find Elizabeth at the gym (she is an avid runner and weight-lifter) or out exploring everything Boston has to offer.
