A vigil was held at Endicott College Monday in memory of a student who was killed in a car crash over the weekend.

The 19-year-old sophomore died Saturday morning when the car he was riding in crashed into a pole in Beverly. Police said the driver, who was injured in the crash, was likely drunk and speeding.

Students floated a wreath in honor of the victim. Endicott officials said they will float a wreath each week for the rest of the school year in his memory.
