BOSTON (WHDH) - An experimental pop-up plaza opened up in the Downtown Crossing area of Boston.
The space has tables and chairs for visitors to drink coffee and enjoy downtown.
The pop-up was installed as a part of a project to bring a permanent plaza to the area.
Engineers monitored traffic and looked at issues that need to be addressed for future designs.
City officials said they can imagine a whole network of new parks and plazas to be added to the area.
