Experts blame holiday gift returns on increase in online shopping

The holidays aren’t even over yet and shoppers are already planning their gift returns.

According to a survey by American Express, 8% of shoppers plan to hit the stores tomorrow to return or exchange gifts they received.

Experts said an increase in online shopping is to blame.

Most shoppers place orders without ever seeing the product in person and guess on everything from the size to the style.

Among the most returned gifts are clothing, overly fancy jewelry, and video games.
