Expressway closed in both directions due to heavy rain, at exit 8 northbound and exit 10 southbound

BRAINTREE, MASS. (WHDH) - The Expressway in both directions was closed Thursday morning due to heavy rains and flash flooding.

As of 10 a.m., I-93 northbound was closed at exit 8, and I-93 southbound was closed at exit 10 in Quincy. I-93 northbound and southbound had reopened at exit 3 in Milton.

The highway was partially reopened by 10:30 a.m.
