Facebook on Thursday began testing "Reactions," an extension of the "Like" button that will give people more ways to share their reaction to a post.

"Reactions" will first be offered to Ireland and Spain, where people will be able to react to any post across Facebook, including a post from a friend, an advertiser, publisher or business.

The "Reactions" will consist of six emoji that express a range of emotions – "Love," "Haha," "Yay," "Wow," "Sad," and "Angry."

The goal of "Reactions" is to show more of the stories that matter to each user, according to Facebook.

During the test, Facebook users will be able to see "Reactions" to all of their posts on Page insights.
