BOSTON (WHDH) - State officials, including Gov. Charlie Baker and Boston Mayor Marty Walsh, helped honor fallen law enforcement members Wednesday at a State House ceremony.

The ceremony was held at the State House’s Law Enforcement Memorial. More than 300 people’s names were read out loud.

“Today was really about recognizing and remembering that these people swear an oath and they really take some serious chances with themselves and, indirectly, their families by doing what they do,” said Baker.

Among those honored this year included Auburn Officer Ron Tarentino Jr., who was shot and killed while responding to a traffic stop back in May.
