Massachusetts State Police honored fallen Trooper Tom Clardy Saturday at a road race in Holyoke.
The 82nd recruit training troop took part in the 41st annual Holyoke Saint Pats Race in his honor. Clardy himself had been part of the 77th recruit training troop.
Clardy died Wednesday after he was rear-ended by a driver on the Mass Pike in Charlton. He is survived by his wife and six children.
Clardy’s wake will be Monday at St. Michael’s Church in Hudson from 2 to 7 p.m. His funeral will be at the church Tuesday at 11 a.m.
