The father of former Patriots player Ron Brace believes concussions played a role in his son’s death.
Ron Brace III passed away last week at age 29.
His father denied reports that his son had a heart attack.
While giving the eulogy during Monday’s funeral at St. John’s Congregational church in Springfield, Ron Brace Junior said his son suffered, "an extraordinary amount of concussions" during his career.
He added that Brace III had shown signs of trauma, including fainting.
He played for the Patriots from 2009-2012.
