The FBI said it will assist in unlocking an iPhone and iPod that belonged to a pair of Arkansas teenagers who have been accused of murder.
Prosecutors said the agents agreed to the request on Wednesday.
Hunter Drexler, 18, and Justin Staton, 15, have been accused of killing Robert and Patricia Cogdell.
The Cogdell’s raised Staton as their grandson.
The news comes after the FBI announced it managed to gain access to the locked phone belonging to the human in the San Bernardino mass shooting.
