CORNELIUS, OR (NBC) — A fire department in Oregon caught an incredible sight – a “firenado.”
A brush fire in the Northern Oregon town of Cornelius morphed into a twister.
Fire officials tweeted out the video and say that high-speed winds may have caused the fire to form into a funnel shape.
They say the fire appears to have been caused by farming equipment that was cutting the field in which the firenado was found.
Fortunately, no structures were damaged and nobody was hurt.
