Firefighters were on the scene of a house fire in Hingham, where movers were inside at the time.

The fire started at around 2 p.m. Wednesday at a three-family house on Elm Street. Movers were at the house because the woman who lives on the top floor was moving out. Firefighters said the movers smelled and saw smoke in the living room, then got the other residents out.

“I was in my house, in my bedroom, and I heard a man yell, ‘Get out now, everybody out now,'” said Tracey Fahey.

Three firefighters suffered minor injuries, including one who was taken to the hospital with heat exhaustion and another who suffered an ankle injury.
