NORTHBRIDGE, MASS. (WHDH) - Firefighters battled a massive blaze that broke out at a Northbridge lumber yard Monday night.
Purgatory Road was temporarily closed due to reports of a structure fire near Route 146 around 8:30 p.m.
Drivers were urged to seek alternate routes.
Several buildings were totally consumed by the flames.

Several local agencies were called to assist.
It is unclear if anyone was injured.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
