WESTON, MASS. (WHDH) - Emergency crews responded in Weston Tuesday after a truck caught fire on the northbound side of I-95.

SKY7-HD was over the scene shortly before 4 p.m. where the vehicle could be seen fully engulfed in flames.

The fire was taking place roughly one mile south of the Mass Pike.

Firefighters were spotted working to get the situation under control as traffic backed up behind the fire and the emergency response to it. Traffic was getting by but appeared to be limited to one lane.

A Massachusetts State Police spokesperson in a statement later in the day Tuesday said troopers first responded to the fire around 3:50 p.m. There were no injuries.

The spokesperson said the scene cleared around 4:45 p.m.

The cause of the fire was unknown and the entire incident remained under investigation as of Tuesday night, according to the Weston Fire Department.
