CAMBRIDGE, MASS. (WHDH) - The first firefighter on the scene of the devastation fire in Cambridge is now speaking out for the first time.
Heartbroken families have also spoken out.
A tearful Joe Buswell wrestled to keep his emotions in check three days after flames leveled a Cambridge neighborhood.
His home on Berkshire has been reduced to a pile of rubble.
Buswell said with no serious injuries, what’s most upsetting is that his wife had been running a daycare center out of their house for years.
Deputy Chief Michael Morrissey was back on the scene of the fire on Tuesday, as investigators work to pinpoint the cause of the flames.
Morrisey was the first firefighter to arrive at the fire.
While investigators have ruled out arson, they’re still trying to determine what sparked the blaze.
