Two Boston firefighters killed in the Back Bay were honored Saturday on the second anniversary of the fire.

Firefighters Michael Kennedy and Edward Walsh were killed in the massive fire that tore through an apartment building on March 26, 2014. Kennedy and Walsh were trapped in the basement as the flames spread.

Flowers were left outside the apartment building and the fire house on Saturday.

Thirteen firefighters and five other people were injured in the fire. Investigators believe the fire was sparked by welders working on the building next door.
