BOSTON (WHDH) - The poster for a Hollywood movie based on the events of the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013 has now been revealed.
Author Casey Sherman tweeted, “The first poster for Patriots Day, inspired by our bestselling book Boston Strong. So proud of our film Dave Wedge.”
Dorchester native Mark Wahlberg was in Framingham in April shooting a scene that depicted the Watertown shootout with the Tsarnaev brothers.
Filming for the movie wrapped up in June at a studio in Weymouth.
“Patriots Day” hits theaters in December.
