BOSTON (WHDH) — The Boston Bruins are leading the Atlantic Division of the NHL’s Eastern Conference and several of their players will be leading national teams in the upcoming 2014 Sochi Olympics.

None of the American players from the Bruins will be playing in the Olympics, but five other players will have their eyes on the gold medal.

Zdeno Chara will be captaining the Slovakian team during his third Olympic appearance and Patrice Bergeron will be reprising his role in center for the 2010 Olympic gold medal winning Canadian team.

Goalie Tuukka Rask will play for Finland, Center David Krejci will play for his home nation of the Czech Republic and one of the newest Bruins Loui Eriksson will be on the Swedish team if he can recover from his concussion in time.

The 2014 Winter Olympics will begin with the opening ceremony on Feb. 7 and are being broadcast on the NBC family of networks.
