We had a hint of late summer weather yesterday with hazy sunshine, temps in the low 70s and even some humidity. It’s almost like summers last stand and with building cold in Canada….#WinterIsComing. Thankfully, not in full force but stepping toward it slowly with a lot of back & forth happening before we get reacquainted with Old Man Winter.

Over the next few days our temps will slowly step back to normal (62) with today in the upper 60s and tomorrow the low 60s and both days offering a mix of clouds & sunshine. Knocking these temps back are a series of cool fronts and the caboose of the front train is slated to plow through New England this weekend. This front will pop clouds on Saturday and perhaps a few sprinkles but nothing more than that. What it will do is usher in our first bonafide shot of arctic air in months! Temps on Saturday will be cool with temps in the upper 50s but temps on Sunday won’t make it out of the 40s! A feisty north wind around 10-20mph will make it tough to be outside for any length of time..whether it’s yard work, nature hike or along the banks of the River Charles for the Head of The Charles.

This cold snap won’t hold though as our weather models suggest (after a chilly day on Monday) that temps will head back into the upper 60s by the middle of next week.

Enjoy your Wednesday.
