FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WHDH)– Rocco the poodle spent 16 hours with his paw stuck in a bathtub drain before a plumber and veterinarian were able to free him.
The plumber worked on the drain, while the vet worked to free Rocco’s paw. Once he was freed, the vet still had to get the drain itself off the dog.
“It really is community,” said Rocco’s owner. “Everybody’s intention was to rescue Rocco.”
Both the plumber and vet said a doggy drain rescue was a first for them both.
