Surveillance video from a Florida convenience store captured the moment a gas station clerk overpower a man who was trying to rob the store.
The Brevard County Sheriff’s Department released the video of the incident, which happened last week.
The suspect was seen walking into the store wearing a bandana around his face.
On the video, he is seen going around the corner and brandishing a weapon, demanding the clerk empty the register.
The clerk walked over to the register, opened it up and the armed man told the clerk to fill a plastic bag wtih cash.
The clerk, a military veteran who did multiple tours in Iraq, saw a chance to disarm the suspect.
The two struggled and the clerk managed to take the weapon away and chase the suspect out of the store.
It was later determined the weapon was actually a black and brown replica revolver-style airsoft gun.
Police are still looking for the suspect.
