Some residents of Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo were swinging into spring and "monkeying around" on Good Friday.
The zoo keepers played Easter bunny and hid baskets throughout the orangutan exhibit.
The baskets included hard-boiled eggs, fruits, and other seasonal items.
Hundreds of visitors also got to enjoy the fun as they watched the eggs-cellent extravaganza.
Zoo keepers say the hunt is all part of an ongoing outdoor enrichment program for the animals.
They say it’s designed to encourage physical and mental activities while stimulating the animals’ senses and behavior.
