BOSTON (WHDH) - The situation out of Turkey shook up travelers headed from the country back to Boston.
Foreign exchange student, Monika Pouzirova, made it on her plane home just in time.
I just turned on my phone and saw messages from all my friends from the Czech Republic,” said Pouzirova. “…All of them sent me ‘are you okay?’ and I was like ‘What’s happening,” she continued.
“…I’m really glad I made it, I just can’t believe it happened,” said Pouzirova.
The student said there was no Wi-Fi at the airport in Instanbul, so her host had no idea if she even got on the plane.
