WALTHAM, MASS. (WHDH) - Former Dukes of Hazzard star, Tom Wopat, was in court in Waltham on Monday after being charged with indecent assault.
Wopat is accused of assaulting two women he was in a musical with back in July at the Reagle Music Theater in Waltham.
Reports said Wopat, who is 66-years-old, allegedly hit a 16-year-old girl’s buttocks with his script, and touched her stomach.
Wopat also allegedly groped another woman.
Wopat’s attorney, Neil Tassel, filed a motion on Monday making a number of requests including the script and a list of possible witnesses, because both allegations were said to have happened in front of the whole cast and crew during rehearsals.
Tassel also said Wopat’s behavior was completely consistent with his role in the musical.
