SPRINGFIELD, MASS. (WHDH) - Former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski paid a visit to Shriners Children’s hospital in Springfield this holiday season.
The retired 6-foot-6-inch football star dressed up as “Robbie the elf” and handed out presents to kids.
“Thank you to Santa Claus to sending Robbie G. the elf here to Springfield Shriners Children’s hospital,” Gronk said in a shoutout video. “The kids were so excited. I was excited. They were so happy to receive all their gifts. They have so much joy.”
Gronk also autographed all the presents he brought for the kids.
