Burt Shavitz, founder of Burt's Bees, has died at the age of 80.
Shavitz, a beekeeper from Maine, was the name and face behind the most recognizable line of natural products.
Burt's Bees was bought out by Shavitz's girlfriend and business partner, Roxanne Quimbly, in 1999.
The company was sold in 2007 for one-billion dollars.
It's unclear how Shavitz died.
