French President Francois Hollande visited the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle off the Syrian coast Friday.
The ship is at the center of France’s air campaign against ISIS.
British jets also started bombing ISIS targets this week.
Germany is expected to expand its role in the fight as well.
Hollande declared war on ISIS after the terror attacks in Paris.
