SWANSEA, MASS. (WHDH) - A fugitive from Ohio was arrested in Swansea Thursday morning, according to Massachusetts state police.
The fugitive, 47-year-old Richard Holivay, was taken into custody by troopers on Route 195 in Swansea. He had a last known address of Providence, Rhode Island.
According to police, Holivay fled Ohio while facing domestic assault and narcotics charges. A warrant for his arrest was issued out of Cuyahoga County, Ohio in October.
Police received information that Holivay would be in a car Thursday. After finding Holivay, troopers stopped him and arrested him without incident.
