Thousands of people are expected to gather during Friday’s funeral for the officer killed in the shooting at a Planned Parenthood in Colorado.
Officer Garrett Swasey was killed when he arrived at the scene of a gunman opening fire at the clinic last Friday.
He grew up nearby in Melrose.
Swasey’s funeral will be open to the public.
Two other people were killed in the shooting, and nine were hurt.
One man has been arrested in connection to the shooting.
