A garbage truck fell off I-95 in Miami on Monday.
The garbage fell 100 feet down to a road below and on top of several cars.
The incident occurred as the truck was travelling south near the 7th Street exit.
The truck crashed through a barrier before falling below to the road.
The driver remains in serious condition at a hospital. Nobody else was injured.
The cab broke apart from the truck causing a plume of smoke.
Pieces of falling barrier concrete fell through a nearby building roof.
Police are investigating the incident.
