An 11-year-old girl is recovering from a terrifying accident at a carnival in Nebraska.
She suffered a fractured skull after her hair ended up getting caught in a spinning ride.
Elizabeth Gilreath had her hair ripped off during Saturday’s accident.
She was yanked from her seat and tossed to the floor of the ride.
"They don’t even know if the muscles will work and my daughter will be able to see again. That is our baby," said Gilreath’s father.
Police and the carnival company are trying to figure out what went wrong.
Gilreath’s parents say they are thankful for the doctors who have treated their daughter.
