BOSTON (WHDH) - Governor Charlie Baker has given some hope to frustrated T riders.
It’s been one year since the state created the MBTA fiscal and management control board.
The governor say the T is still in rough shape, but slowly improving.
He said these changes should have happened a long time ago.
“People used a variety of games and gimmicks to make up for the fact that some of the structural reforms we are pursuing now, didn’t happen,” said Baker.
The governor added the MBTA’s revenue has gone up this year, while spending has stayed the same.
