Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker is under fire from a leading gay and lesbian group.
The National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce was set to honor the Governor at a gala dinner in the nation’s capital later this month, but now they’re pulling the invitation.
They say they’re dropping Baker, unless he decides to not attend a GOP conference in Las Vegas this weekend.
They’re also pushing the Governor to back a bill that would protect transgender people in Massachusetts from discrimination in malls, restaurants and other public places.
