Despite his poor showing in Iowa, Ohio Gov. John Kasich is taking New Hampshire town by town as he makes dozens of campaign stops before Tuesday’s primary vote.
Kasich told 7News that he feels good even though some polls have him in fourth place. New Hampshire is key for Kasich, who skipped Iowa during their caucuses and focused on campaigning in New England. On Friday, he held his 100th town hall meeting in New Hampshire.
"We’re going to do well here," said Kasich. "I’m thinking about how I’m going to get home sometime between South Carolina and Nevada."
Kasich said he is making it a point during his campaign to focus on the issues instead of attacking the other candidates.
"I just know it’s pretty negative out there and you have a campaign plan and then you campaign it," said Kasich. "I’m not looking around at anybody else."
