Feeling a little "off-kilter" today?  Don’t worry!  You’re not alone.  Whether it’s the post-Halloween sugar crash or the time change, some of us (myself included) are moving just a little slower for this 1st day of November.  Even the temperatures are in denial that it’s November now, rising into the low 60s for highs today.  The average high for today is 57° – So, while some of us are dragging our feet through this Sunday, at least we were feeling "above average" in the weather department.  Because of the rise in temperatures this week, I’ll hold off on the countdown to the holidays for a bit.  How about this countdown instead:  Only 51 days until the amount of daylight starts to increase!

Rain moving through Georgia and the Carolinas this evening will move off-shore and stay to the south of us.  High pressure is building in to keep that wet weather away from New England but we still may have some high clouds sneaking into the picture tomorrow, making for filtered sunshine.  Still, I expect more sunshine tomorrow than what we had today.  Highs will top out around 60° again for the start of the work week.  What’s up with Mother Nature playing the "Guessing Game" with us?  One day we’re pulling our winter coats/scarves/gloves/hats out of storage, and the next we’re putting them away and breaking out the picnic supplies!

It’s still "Game ON" for the warm-up this week.  Near-record highs are possible for the peak of the warmth on Thursday and Friday.  As it stands now, I don’t want to promise you the moon, so I’m sticking with highs around 70° for both Thursday and Friday.  However, it is possible that temps could over-achieve.  While it may be November, it sure feels more like September.

Of course we know what’s coming eventually…(I’m talking about the "season-which-shall-remain-nameless" in my weather blogs for now, to keep the Downer Debbies from attacking me on Twitter)… Let’s just enjoy this boost in temps while we have it.  It’s back to more seasonable temps by next weekend.  – Breezy
