At only 23, freeskier David Wise has it all. He’s a world-class skier in the halfpipe and is also married with a child. He married his wife, Alexandra in January 2011.
The two met at a church camp six years ago and now have a baby daughter, Nayeli, who was born in October 2011. Nayeli, which means “love” in Aztec, is a common Central American name that Wise discovered when he was traveling there years ago.
Nayeli thinks every skier on television is her father and when David returns home, she tells him, “Daddy, I missed you.” David and Alexandra run the youth group at their church in Reno, Nev., Valley View Christian Fellowship. Check out photos of David and his family.
