The award-winning blockbuster hip-hop Broadway musical "Hamilton," is coming to Boston.
On Monday, Broadway in Boston announced the show will come to Boston next year as part of Broadway in Boston’s 2017-2018 season.
Show dates will be announced on a later date.
The show is about Alexander Hamilton, one of America’s founding fathers, who became the nation’s first secretary of the Treasury.
The production features a wide array of music, including, rap, hip hop, blues, jazz and R & B.
The show is based on a book about Hamilton by Ron Chernow.
Other attractions coming to Broadway in Boston this season include the popular shows The King and and I and Wicked.
